Ingredients

Whiskey Lemons Honey Water

Step 1

Step 1

Add lemon juice and whiskey to a cocktail shaker.

Add water to a small bowl and microwave it for 15 seconds. Then add the honey to the water and stir until it dissolves. Add the honey and water mixture to the cocktail shaker.

Step 2

Step 2

Add ice to the cocktail shaker and shake for 5 seconds or until the shaker feels cool. Then put a strainer over the shaker and pour the honey whiskey sour equally between two glasses.

Step 3

Step 3

Add an optional garnish. If you serve your whiskey sour in a coupe glass, we recommend a orange slice and a maraschino cherry on a cocktail skewer. If you serve it in a lowball glass, we recommend putting a quartered orange and maraschino cherry directly into the bottom of the glass.

Optional Step

Q: What should I serve this honey whiskey sour in?

A: We like to serve this without ice in a coupe glass. If you don't have a coupe glass, you can serve it in a lowball glass with or without ice.

Q: What whiskey should I use for a whiskey sour?

A: We recommend using bourbon. Our preferred bourbon is Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey

Q: Can I make this whiskey sour ahead of time?

A: You can! Skip the step where you shake all the contents with ice and put the mixture into an air-tight container in your fridge for up to 2 days.

Pro Tip

Fresh squeezed lemon juice will always give you the best results!
