New Years Moscow Mule

This New Years Moscow Mule is perfect for creating some extra holiday cheer. It's made with classic mule ingredients—vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice—but we add cranberry juice, orange juice, and amaretto to make it perfect for the holidays.

Ingredients

Step 2

Step 2

Step 3

Step 3

Optionally, garnish with a sprig of rosemary and fresh cranberries.

Q: Can I use low-calorie cranberry juice cocktail or sugar-free ginger beer?

A: Yes! We use low-sugar/low-calorie versions of cranberry juice cocktail and ginger beer and find that the taste is quite similar to the regular versions.

Q: Can I make this into a mocktail?

A: Yes! Make this recipe as written, but omit the vodka and amaretto.

Q: How do I serve a mule if I don't have a copper mug?

A: Mules are traditionally served in copper mugs because they take on the cold temperature of the drink. If you don't have a copper mug, try a highball glass with lots of ice.
