Description

These winter margaritas are the perfect holiday drink for tequila lovers. They're made with pomegranate and orange juice, and they're sweet, easy to drink, and super festive. Garnish them with sprigs of rosemary and some pomegranate arils or cranberries to make them look extra special.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 orange, juiced

1 lime, juiced

1/2 cup pomegranate juice

1 teaspoon maple syrup

3 ounces silver tequila

Raw sugar, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add about a cup of ice to a cocktail shaker or a jar with a lid. Add the orange juice, lime juice, pomegranate juice, maple syrup, and tequila, then cover and shake 10-15 times.
  2. Add enough raw sugar (or sugar of your choice) to cover the surface of a small saucer. Fill a small bowl with water, then dip the rim of your desired glasses into the water and sugar. Fill halfway with ice, then divide the margarita mixture between the two glasses.
  3. Garnish each glass with orange slices, a rosemary sprig, pomegranate arils, or fresh cranberries, if desired.
