1 bottle dry red wine (Spanish and Portuguese wines work well)

2 ounces bourbon whiskey

1 cup pomegranate juice

Juice of 5 oranges

Juice of 1 lemon

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 pear, cut into thin slices

1 apple, cut into thin slices

3 cinnamon sticks

Fresh pomegranate seeds and orange slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a punch bowl or large pitcher.
  2. Let the mixture sit for at least an hour or up to 4 hours, then serve!
