    Frequently asked questions

Do I have to add the bourbon?

Nope! You can omit the bourbon. The flavors won't be quite the same, and the cook time will be less because the liquid will cook out more quickly.

Is there a bacon alternative that you recommend?

Pancetta would be a great alternative to bacon in this dish. You can follow the same directions.

Can I reheat these brussels sprouts?

You can! These brussels sprouts aren't crispy, so they reheat really easily. Just pop them in the microwave for a minute or two and they taste as good as new.
